DESCRIPTION

Supports the Manager in day-to-day operations and project execution. Provides analysis, reporting, and administrative support to ensure smooth workflow.

Ocean Freight Operations:

Handle daily execution of export shipments to/from USA & Canada. Manage order processing, bookings, and amendments. Coordinate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams. Resolve operational issues and escalate complex cases.

Inland Transport & Coordination:

Book and monitor truck and rail shipments. Coordinate loading schedules with shippers and carriers. Track carrier performance and address delays or service issues.

Documentation & Compliance:

Prepare and submit shipping instructions and VGM on time. Ensure documentation completeness and regulatory compliance.

Control Tower & Data Monitoring:

Monitor shipment milestones and flag deviations or risks. Ensure accuracy and completeness of operational data. Support corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.

Performance Tracking & Reporting:

Assist in KPI reporting and operational performance analysis. Maintain reporting dashboards in Cargoo and MS Office.

Stakeholder Coordination:

Communicate shipment status to customers and internal teams. Liaise with carriers, agents, and other stakeholders. Escalate critical issues in a timely manner.

REQUIRED

experience and skills: Experience in ocean freight or logistics operations. Knowledge of FCL shipment handling, bookings, inland coordination, and documentation. Understanding of ex- / import procedures and compliance requirements. Experience with freight management systems Proficiency in MS Office for reporting and analysis. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently while supporting the Manager. Proactive problem-solving and escalation when needed. Customer-focused with accountability and attention to detail.
