Job Description
Seeking casuals for check-on dispatch work for the Port of Tampa/Manatee. Must be eager to learn, have a driver's license, be able to adapt quickly, be attentive and aware of surroundings, be able to work alone or with a team and MUST show up when accepting a job.
Some job duties include:
- Hatch check break-bulk cargo vessels and appropriately label cargo
- Assist Chief Clerk in the yard during vessel operations verifying accurately marked material, sorting mixes, tallying cargo
- Work with forklift operators in the warehouse to accurately load trucks with cargo
- Operate vehicles (golf cart, company car) for warehouse operations and/or container terminal operations
- Use company software via tablets/computers to input trucking information/ cargo ticket information And more.
MUST HAVE
Hard hat, steel toe boots, clip board, safety vest/glasses, pens/markers, must be able to work in all weather conditions, work pants No Shorts and MUST be able to acquire a TWIC card through Identogo.Job Types:
