Position Summary The Dock Associate is responsible for efficiently loading and unloading freight while maintaining a safe, organized, and high-performing warehouse environment. This role ensures accurate handling, sorting, and tracking of shipments to support on-time, error-free deliveries. Key Responsibilities Load and unload freight using appropriate material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner Utilize RF scanners to track shipments and ensure accurate package movement Sort and organize freight based on delivery routes and customer requirements Maintain cleanliness and organization of dock areas to prevent accidents and delays Perform daily inspections to ensure compliance with company policies and safety regulations Follow all safety, security, and operational procedures for cross-dock operations Maintain accurate handling and documentation of freight Collaborate with warehouse team members to improve workflow and efficiency Provide professional and courteous communication with team members, vendors, and customers Protect company assets and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information Perform additional duties as assigned
