Position Summary:

This role is responsible for the planning and execution of maximizing capacity of trucks to deliver 1 to multiple stop deliveries. Insuring freight is delivered on time based on SOP requirements of customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Set up and schedule delivery appointments Schedule domestic shipments with various carriers Consolidate loads and schedule drivers for deliveries Create delivery orders and build loads efficiently Effectively communicate with internal and external parties using MS Teams, Outlook, or phone Communicate with customers regarding freight details, delivery or pickup times, and special handling requests Maintain smooth communication with customers, carriers, drivers, etc.. Education /

Experience:

2+ year of load planning / dispatch experience with a freight forwarding company Experience using a TMS Proficient in Microsoft Excel / Word / Outlook High School Diploma or equivalent Extremely detail oriented and well organized Must be a team player, while also able to work independently Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Great customer service skills (phone call and email)

Schedule Options:

Full Time:

9am•6pm (Monday•Friday)

Part Time:

9am-2pm (Saturday•Wednesday)
