About the

Role:

We are seeking an experienced Carrier Sales Manager to lead one of the industry's top freight coverage teams. In this role, you will oversee carrier sales operations, develop team members, strengthen carrier relationships, and drive profitable freight coverage across Spot, Contractual, and Expedite freight. This is a fast-paced leadership position where you'll play a critical role in service execution, team performance, and operational success while helping shape the future growth of our brokerage.

What You'll Do:

Lead daily carrier sales operations and prioritize freight coverage activities Coach, develop, and motivate Carrier Sales Representatives to achieve results Build and strengthen relationships with transportation providers Guide carrier procurement strategies to improve service and profitability Collaborate with Sales, Pricing, Account Management, and Operations teams Monitor market conditions and support effective buying decisions Proactively solve coverage challenges and service disruptions Drive accountability, process improvement, and operational excellence

What We're Looking For:

5+ years of experience in freight brokerage, carrier sales, or transportation logistics Previous leadership or people management experience Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills Knowledge of transportation markets and carrier procurement strategies Experience using transportation management systems and industry tools A proactive, solution-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment A passion for developing people and driving team success
