Job Description
Company Overview CONRI Services, Inc is a family-owned and operated company with over 70 years of dedicated service. Overview We are seeking a motivated and energetic box truck driver to join our team. No CDL is required however two years of box truck driving experience and a strong understanding of how freight moves is . Additionally, there will be a warehouse component to this, loading and unloading freight and assisting on our dock when needed. Duties Safely operate a box truck or straight truck throughout New Jersey, Eastern Pennsylvania and lower New York. Load and unload palletized freight and distribute freight correctly in the truck. Lift gate to ground and inside delivery is required at times but not often. Accurately count and inspect all freight you are signing for and transporting. Know your cargo weights and weight limits. Assist with warehouse operations including loading and unloading freight on the dock. Ensure compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations, traffic laws, and safety standards during route driving. Use mobile devices to document deliveries, update logs, and communicate with dispatchers effectively. Provide excellent customer service by delivering goods promptly and professionally while maintaining a positive attitude. Requirements Two years of box truck / delivery experience and a basic familiarity with commercial vehicle routing in NJ, PA and NY. Clean and valid license issued by the state of New Jersey, Pennsylvania or New York. Strong communication skills. Proficiency in English is required. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus. Ability to use a pump jack and operate a lift gate. Ability to lift up to 70 LBS; knowledge of safe lifting practices is essential. Strong understanding of traffic regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) rules, and weight handling in the workplace. Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor during deliveries. Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team in warehouse operations and route driving.
