Global, expedited air courier/air cargo solutions company is hiring for Export/Import Operations Agent that can also do Quoting. Would be required to work 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM shift. Must be familiar with Pelican Biothermal packaging (the various temperature ranges for each type) and Intelsius dry ice boxes. Also with Sensitech monitors. Should also be familiar with GDP and ISO principles. Will also need experience in the preparation of airline IATA MAWBs and the cargo procedures of the major airlines (LH, AA, UA, LX, BA). Must be familair with US Customs procedures (must understand what the role of a customs broker is) and also the role of the FDA regarding importation of Life Science shipments. Does not need to be a customs broker. Must know what a CCSF is. IATA Dangers Goods Certification is a plus. Quoting experience required.
