In this role, you will leverage your personal vehicle—specifically a box truck or cargo van—to provide efficient, reliable delivery services across various locations. As a Cargo Van Owner, you will play a key role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of safety and customer satisfaction. Duties Safely operate your personal cargo van or box truck to execute scheduled deliveries and pickups with precision and professionalism Load and unload packages using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, or material handling equipment as needed, adhering to safe lifting practices Follow established routes and traffic regulations to ensure on-time delivery while prioritizing safety on the road Manage delivery documentation via mobile devices, including tracking shipments and obtaining proof of delivery Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly Conduct routine vehicle inspections to ensure your cargo van remains in optimal condition, adhering to DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations Maintain accurate records of deliveries, weight handling, and route activities in compliance with workplace safety standards Qualifications Proven experience in delivery driving, courier services, or warehouse operations involving manual handling and heavy lifting Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving or driving a box truck is highly desirable Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles and safe driving practices on busy routes Knowledge of traffic laws, DOT regulations, and weight handling in the workplace to ensure compliance and safety Ability to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks when necessary for loading/unloading Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude during all interactions Comfortable using mobile devices for route navigation, communication, and documentation purposes Physical ability to lift heavy packages safely and perform manual handling tasks consistently Join us as a Cargo Van Owner and enjoy the freedom of running your own route while contributing to an energetic team dedicated to delivering excellence!
