Job Description

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Operate truck scales through computer terminal
  • Fielding in-bound calls and providing a high level of customer service for visitors in the scale house
  • Ensure tickets have accurate address and project information for accounting
  • Collect and reconcile daily cash sales (credit card processing, etc.)
  • Process and distribute accurate end of business day paperwork
  • Assist dispatch as needed
  • Troubleshoot issues with ticket printers
  • Provide accurate State, County, or City Scaling reports for 3rd party customers as needed
  • Assist with scale coverage of Portland Metro Knife River locations both remote and in person as needed
  • Assure all safety policies and procedures are followed to prevent all unsafe actions, processes and behaviors observed
  • Other duties assigned as needed Typical Hours 6:30 am
  • 4:00 pm, role requires weekend or night work as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Aptitude for dealing with customers, sales, and problem solving
  • Ability to operate a computer terminal and manage multiple tasks at the same time
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be people oriented, able to provide exceptional customer service to a wide variety of personality types
  • Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug test
