Job Description

Use mobile apps and property management software to: Job Summary Cascadia Getaways is seeking a hands-on Weekend Cleaning Manager to lead our housekeeping operations in the Mt. Hood region. This is not a desk job . The ideal candidate enjoys leading by example, solving problems in real time, coaching team members, and ensuring every home is guest-ready. This role requires someone who can balance people management, quality control, organization, and basic maintenance troubleshooting while thriving in a fast-paced hospitality environment. Preferred Qualities Organized and detail-oriented Strong communication skills Comfortable using technology and mobile apps Calm under pressure Self-motivated with excellent time management Proactive and solutions-focused Passionate about coaching and developing others Takes ownership and follows through Key Responsibilities Housekeeping Operations Conduct detailed inspections to ensure homes meet Cascadia Getaways quality standards Manage daily cleaning schedules and adjust as priorities change Organize and oversee linen inventory and distribution Track cleaning supplies and inventory levels Ensure homes are fully guest-ready before arrival Team Leadership Support cleaners throughout the day and remove obstacles that prevent success Provide real-time coaching and constructive feedback Train new team members on company standards and procedures Hold team members accountable while fostering a positive, supportive culture Operations & Problem Solving Manage daily tasks and priorities using company software Troubleshoot basic maintenance issues and determine when maintenance tech support is needed Communicate professionally with homeowners regarding urgent property needs Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and guest experience Resolve issues before they become guest or owner concerns Technology Use mobile apps and property management software to: Complete inspections Manage tasks Document issues with photos and notes Communicate with team members Track inventory and maintenance needs What Success Looks Like Homes consistently exceed cleanliness and presentation standards. Cleaners receive regular coaching and feel supported. Schedules stay on track, even during busy weekends. Maintenance issues are identified early and addressed quickly. Owners receive clear, proactive communication. Guests arrive to exceptional homes that create five-star experiences. Qualifications 5+ years of professional housekeeping experience. 2+ years of leadership or management experience. 2+ years of basic maintenance or handyman experience. Reliable AWD/4WD vehicle capable of safely traveling in mountain and snow conditions. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Proven experience in custodial work, commercial cleaning, or hospitality housekeeping management. Demonstrated supervisory or team management experience within a janitorial or industrial cleaning setting. Strong knowledge of sanitation standards, safety regulations, and cleaning & sanitation management practices. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team effectively. Effective communication skills suited for managerial roles in customer service environments. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high attention to detail. Prior experience with laundry services or hospitality housekeeping is a plus. Why Join Cascadia Getaways? Pay:
$24.00 - $27.00 per hour
