Eligibility:
Candidates must either reside within an eligible HUBZone or attend an eligible college or university campus located within a HUBZone, subject to applicable program requirements. About the Internship Advantech GS Enterprises, Inc. is seeking motivated college students and early-career professionals for a paid, part-time internship opportunity supporting our federal contracting operations. This internship is designed to provide students with practical work experience while allowing them to balance their academic commitments. Interns will work alongside experienced professionals and gain exposure to areas such as Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, Business Operations, Finance, Project Management, Contracts, IT, Cybersecurity, and Federal Programs. Key Responsibilities Depending on the intern's area of interest, responsibilities may include: Supporting day-to-day business and administrative operations Assisting with recruiting, sourcing, and talent acquisition activities Supporting proposal and contract-related activities Conducting research and preparing reports and presentations Assisting with data entry, documentation, and project tracking Supporting employee and client communications Participating in team meetings and professional development activities Performing other duties aligned with the intern's academic background and career interests Qualifications Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university or an eligible recent graduate Must meet applicable HUBZone residency or college-campus eligibility requirements Available to work part-time while attending school Strong written and verbal communication skills Professional, dependable, organized, and eager to learn Ability to work independently and as part of a team Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams What You'll Gain Hands-on experience within a federal government contracting environment Mentorship from experienced professionals Exposure to federal programs and professional services Professional development and networking opportunities Opportunities to develop business, technical, and communication skills Potential consideration for future full-time employment based on performance, business needs, and available opportunities Our Goal At Advantech, we believe internships should provide meaningful experience-not simply administrative tasks.
