Charleston Job Summary/ Key Responsibilities:
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for setting up receiving export windows and cutoffs for assigned US Port Calls prior to vessel arrival.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Ensures a fluid and efficient receiving of cargo at the terminal, avoiding: Opening the export windows and receiving cargo too early Opening the export windows too late, to make sure the cargo is loaded on board without any issues (e.g. issues with documentation, missing cut offs etc.) Uses MSC USA proprietary IT system to retrieve, record and analyze information. Escalates unique or complex issues to the appropriate supervisor for resolution when necessary. Provides feedback regarding current corporate practices and metrics in order to support process efficiencies. Presence required on‑site 5 days per week Performs other related duties, as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED SKILLS / ABILITIES
Experience analyzing data and trends. Proficient in Microsoft Office, with emphasis in Excel, PowerBI and other reporting tools Basic knowledge of supply chain environment (ocean maritime industry preferred) Ability to stay updated on market changes & industry news:

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, supply chain or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Maritime Degree (preferred) Experience in shipping, supply chain, transportation
PREFERRED SKILLS & ABILITIES
Languages other than English Experience in International Environment is a plus
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time Must be able to commute to the designated office location Presence required on‑site 5 days per week
WORK AUTHORIZATION
Authorization to work in the U.S This role requires working on-site in the office for five days a week, from Monday to Friday. There is no option for fully remote or hybrid work in this role, unless required off-site duties are being performed.
