Order Management Representative Hybrid role in Earth City, MO office Job Title Order Management Representative Job # US19956 Requisition Type Regular Function Supply Chain State/Province Missouri City Earth City Region US Posting Start Date Mar-24-2026 Division Information The Home & Garden business unit of Spectrum Brands is based in St. Louis, Missouri with distribution, manufacturing and sales offices throughout the US and globe. We are a leading supplier of consumer products nationally for the home, lawn and garden, insect and weed control markets. We deliver groundbreaking products of exceptional value and top-notch quality to consumers with our well-recognized brands including Spectracide®, Hot Shot®, Cutter®, Repel®, Black Flag®, Garden Safe®, EcoLogic® and Liquid Fence®. Job Summary This position supports the Global Home Care Customer Care Team for day-to-day tasks. This includes, but is not limited to: order management, returns processing, communication with internal and external customers, publishing reports, and problem resolution. This role will work collaboratively among all division groups including Sales, EDI, Distribution, Transportation, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Credit, Trade Compliance, Regulatory and Offshore/backoffice teams. This role may handle a diverse customer base, including domestic, international, and inter-company. Primary Duties & Responsibilities Order Management - 40%:
  • Executes the order fulfillment process, which may include all activities from order booking to complete delivery of product, as well as monitoring and partnering with Offshore Team members and activities related to the assigned customer base.
  • Executes the general sales order process, which may include direct customer interface, price hold review and action, problem resolution, analyzing, reporting, container bookings, customs documentation, etc.
  • Ensures purchase order details are reviewed, updated and maintained until the order is closed
  • Analyze customer return requests and obtain required approvals; identify time critical situations and take appropriate action based on financial elements (return freight, distance from DC, product value, etc); process return orders to completion, which may include arranging pick-up from the customers locations. Internal/External Customer Relationships - 40%:
  • Builds and maintain strong working relationships with customers, internal and external operations, and peripheral teams.
  • Produces and publishes required reports and other data to internal and external customers.
  • Communicates regularly with Sales team & support staff to ensure timely product delivery and prioritize shipping activities.
  • Act as liaison with Sales, Distribution, and Supply Chain across multiple shipping and contact locations
  • Communicates delivery status and issues with customers. Additional Functionality - 20%:
  • Compliance with all Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) requirements and processes
  • Utilization of SAP system, EDI interfaces, and other programs
  • Ensure customer compliance, service level, fill rate and accuracy drive decisions and actions
  • Participates in strategic project initiatives as a contributing project team member
  • Identifies issues or trends; analyzes issues and proposes resolutions; escalates issues appropriately and timely
  • Performs other duties as assigned Education and Experience Profile Any combination of: Role not eligible for sponsorship Associates degree in Business or related field required.
Bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum 5 years of experience in lieu of degree will be accepted. Minimum 1 or more years of experience in a business/office environment with focus on Consumer-Packaged Goods preferred. SAP experience preferred Customer Service / Order Management experience preferred EDI experience preferred Supply chain experience a plus Required Skills Ability to multi-task and adapt to change. Accomplished user of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word). Work Environment This position is hybrid. This position works in the Earth City office Tuesday & Wednesday.
