Recent College Grads are strongly encouraged to apply, interviews will be held this week and next. About the Role Fortune Logistics is a freight brokerage in Sioux Falls. We move refrigerated and dry van freight for Fortune 500 food and consumer goods shippers across the country. When a plant in Iowa needs 40,000 pounds of product in Los Angeles by Thursday, we are the ones who find the truck, negotiate the rate, and make sure it gets there. We are hiring an Account Manager to learn that business from the ground up. You do not need freight experience. You do not need a logistics degree. We will teach you the industry, the software, and the phone. What we cannot teach is competitiveness, coachability, and the willingness to make one more call when the first twenty did not go your way. What You Will Actually Do Your first 90 days: learn the freight, learn the lanes, and learn to cover loads. You will sit with experienced brokers, listen to live calls, and start working real freight under supervision within your first two weeks. Day to day, once you are ramped: Source trucks for our customers' freight using load boards (DAT, Truckstop) and our carrier network Negotiate rates with carriers and dispatchers over the phone, dozens of calls a day Build relationships with a core group of carriers who run our lanes repeatedly Track loads from pickup through delivery and communicate proactively when something changes Solve problems in real time: late trucks, temperature issues, appointment changes Enter and maintain accurate load information in our TMS Grow into managing your own customer accounts as you prove out What We Are Looking For Competitive. High volume, real conversations, some rejection Organized enough to juggle 10 to 15 moving loads without losing track of one Able to think under pressure. A truck breaking down at 4:30 PM is a Tuesday, not a crisis High school diploma or equivalent required No freight experience necessary. Sales, restaurant, retail, athletics, military, or trades backgrounds all translate well A degree is not required. Prior brokerage experience is not required. If you were a college athlete, worked commission retail, waited tables through school, or came out of the service, you already have most of what this job needs.

Compensation Base salary:

$50,000 per year Bonus eligibility after 90 days! Core hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
