Job Description:
Aeronet is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and negotiation-savvy Carrier Services Representative with freight brokerage experience to join our ART team. This is a fast-paced Internal Operations role. There is no cold-calling and no external customer management. Instead, you will work hand-in-hand with our Internal Operations team to cover freight, quote spot capacity, and build carrier relationships. A Day in the
Life Capacity Procurement:
Source, negotiate with, and book high-quality carriers for available freight using DAT, Truckstop, and internal networks.
Internal Collaboration:
Respond rapidly to internal account managers providing spot market quotes and capacity updates.
Carrier Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with recurring tracking partners and owner-operators.
Data Integrity:
Utilize Tai TMS to post loads, log carrier pricing, dispatch drivers, and update shipment statuses accurately.
Issue Escalation:
Track shipments and proactively communicate transit delays or carrier issues back to the internal customer service team. The position will be covering our West Coast operations, hours are 1100-2000 Monday-Friday A Strong Candidate has....
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of experience booking trucks or dispatching within a non-asset freight brokerage.
Software:
Experience with major load boards. Prior use of Tai TMS is a major advantage.
Skills:
Strong phone negotiation skills, ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and a team-first mentality.
Pay Range Details and Benefits:
The pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different for other locations.
