Job Description
We do this through:
High-impact networking events, mixers, and luncheons Business advocacy and community leadership Marketing and tourism initiatives through our Visitors Center Signature events and fundraising programs Leadership development through Leadership Windsor Supporting entrepreneurs and future workforce development We're looking for a dynamic, strategic, and community-driven leader to serve as our next Executive Director. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a visible leadership position—someone who can build relationships, drive strategy, lead a small but mighty team, and be the voice of the business community in Windsor . You'll work closely with the Board of Directors and lead a team of 1 full-time and 3 part-time staff members to guide the Chamber into its next chapter of growth and impact. What You'll Do Leadership & Strategy Partner with the Board to shape and execute strategic goals Lead annual planning and facilitate board engagement Operations & Financial Management Oversee daily operations, budgeting, and financial health Develop and manage business, marketing, and operational plans Membership & Community Engagement Grow and retain membership while increasing value Serve as a key spokesperson and advocate for local businesses Build relationships with business leaders, elected officials, and partners Programs & Events Oversee key programs including mixers, luncheons, fundraisers, and Leadership Windsor Collaborate with staff and committees to execute high-quality events Team Leadership Hire, train, and support staff Foster a positive, collaborative, and results-driven culture What We're Looking For 5+ years of executive or senior leadership experience Experience working with a Board of Directors Strong business and financial acumen Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities Exceptional relationship-building and communication skills Political awareness and community diplomacy Experience in chambers, nonprofits, membership organizations, or economic development is a plus Comfortable with tools like Microsoft 365, Google Workspace (QuickBooks, Canva, CRM experience a plus) Work Environment Typical hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-4:30 PM (with flexibility) Evenings once or twice a week for events. Weekends occasional. Must have a valid driver's license Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and support event setup as needed This is more than a job—it's an opportunity to shape the future of Windsor's business community .
