- Inspire, mentor, and develop a high-performing, collaborative team
- Create and maintain a positive, healthy organizational culture built on trust and accountability
- Lead strategic planning and organizational growth
- Oversee finances, budgeting, compliance, and daily operations
- Research, write, and manage federal, state, local, and foundation grants
- Develop new funding opportunities and strengthen donor relationships
- Work closely with an engaged Board of Directors
- Represent the organization throughout Southwest Florida as our primary spokesperson
- Build meaningful partnerships with community leaders, government agencies, businesses, and philanthropic organizations
- Measure outcomes and ensure our programs continue making a lasting community impact ### The Leader We're Looking For We're seeking someone who:
- Has nonprofit executive or senior leadership experience
- Has demonstrated success writing, securing, and managing grants
- Understands nonprofit finance, budgeting, and compliance
- Has fundraising and donor development experience
- Builds positive workplace cultures where employees thrive
- Is an exceptional communicator who enjoys engaging with community partners and stakeholders
- Can think strategically while remaining hands-on when needed
- Leads with integrity, compassion, transparency, and optimism ### Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree or MBA preferred
- Five or more years of nonprofit leadership experience
- Grant writing and grant administration expertise
- Experience working with nonprofit Boards of Directors
- Strong financial management and budgeting skills
