Job Summary The Executive Coordinator will serve as a key support resource to the CEO, contributing to high-impact initiatives that drive organizational performance, innovation, and long-term growth. This role is designed for a recent MBA or MA graduate seeking exposure to executive-level decision-making within a fast-paced professional sports and entertainment environment. The position will lead and support strategic research, develop business insights, and execute cross-functional projects that influence critical business decisions across operations, revenue generation, and organizational effectiveness. This is a one-year term position designed to provide an immersive professional development experience and broad exposure to executive leadership, strategic planning, and operations of a professional sports organization. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Support the CEO in evaluating new business opportunities, partnerships, and growth initiatives Serve as an information source and partner to CEO and Executive team to ensure they are updated on all important information, projects and developments Conduct market research and competitive analysis across the sports, entertainment, and adjacent industries to inform strategic decision-making Develop executive-ready presentations, briefing materials, and reports for internal leadership, ownership, and board-level discussions Assist with special projects that span multiple departments Assist in analyzing business performance data and identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement Provide project management on various business initiatives Prepare research reports on industry trends and developments Disseminate information and assist with cross-department collaboration Handle communications for the CEO where applicable and connect with both internal and external parties with a high level of integrity and tact Provide high-level administrative support and assistance to the CEO Perform clerical and administrative tasks including drafting letters, memos, invoices, reports, expense reports and other documents for the CEO Arrange travel and accommodations for the CEO as needed All other duties as assigned Game/Event Responsibilities Game/Event Night responsibilities: Yes Qualifications Recently completed MBA or MA in Business, Sports Management, Economics, or a related field Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create polished, executive-level materials Exceptional organizational skills, time management skills, and attention to detail Ability to meet tight deadlines and work well under pressure Ability to work independently without supervision, be self-directed, and demonstrate initiative Ability to handle regular activities without prompting, and advise in advance of issues or delays Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively in a fast-paced environment High level of professionalism, discretion, and ability to handle confidential information Exhibit good judgment and decision-making skills Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends and be on-call as necessary based on the changing priorities of the department Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) Working Conditions Ability to work efficiently and effectively in office and arena environment that can be exciting, loud and distracting This is an onsite role; flexibility to work a minority of time remotely. Ability to work extended hours including late nights, holidays, and weekends as needed Ability to work prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer. Ability to lift/carry/move up to 25 lbs Ability to work in cold/hot indoor and outdoor temperatures Ability to commute to various venues throughout the Greater Tampa Bay Area Ability to stand on feet for long periods of time, walk long distances and climb stairs.
