The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Surface Concepts, LLC is responsible for providing visionary leadership and overall direction for the Company while ensuring sustainable profitability, revenue growth, operational discipline, and customer focus.

Surface Concepts, LLC is a building materials enterprise wholesaling brick, tile, stone and mosaics through The Masonry Center, Inc., plus quarrying and fabricating proprietary premium sandstone products through Table Rock Sandstone, LLC. Surface Concepts traces its wholesale roots to the early 1970s and its sandstone roots to the late 1800s. Surface Concepts operates in Idaho, Montana, Eastern Oregon, Eastern Washington, Western Wyoming, and Northern Utah, with locations in Boise, Pocatello, Missoula and Spokane.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversight Leadership:
Overall leadership and management of all Company operations, plans and results, with focus on revenue and profitability.
Collaboration:
Close collaboration with key executives (sales, operations and finance) to achieve success.
Initiative:
Quick integration into the Company and industry with aggressive initial 90-day plan.
Strategy Strategic Plan:
Develop and execute the Company's multi-year strategic plan, implement the strategic plan with annual priorities, objectives, and measurable performance goals, and balance the long-term goals with day-to-day operations.
Company Development:
Continue developing the Company's people and organization to reflect and adapt to the market, including incentive compensation, management equity ownership and management equity incentives. Culture Enhance the Company's culture built upon integrity, accountability, respect, collaboration, and continuous improvement and lead by example through humility, transparency, and consistency. Finance Deliver consistent and profitable growth while maintaining financial discipline.
Sales Sales Growth:
Lead the sales manager's sales and revenue growth, including market penetration and customer retention.
Support:
Personally support major customer opportunities, vendor relations, strategic partners, and key accounts.
Operations Operation Improvement:
Ensure continued operational improvement and excellence, including removing organizational bottlenecks and aligning with strategic objectives.
Market and Industry Market Knowledge:
Identify emerging market trends and position the Company to capitalize on new opportunities.
Presence:
Represent the Company within industry associations, community organizations, networking events, and strategic business initiatives.
Governance Leadership:
Lead the owners and Board of Managers in developing and implementing strategic objectives, including ownership succession and performance reporting.
