A confidential behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment organization is seeking an accomplished, mission-driven Chief Executive Officer to lead a treatment facility in the greater Indianapolis area. This executive will provide strategic and operational leadership for a care environment focused on safe, compassionate, high-quality treatment. The CEO will be responsible for organizational performance, clinical excellence, team development, regulatory readiness, and meaningful community relationships. Position Responsibilities Develop and carry out a strategic plan to expand access to effective treatment services, strengthen referral relationships, and support sustainable growth. Oversee all aspects of facility operations, with accountability for patient safety, service quality, financial performance, and achievement of key business objectives. Build, coach, and retain a capable leadership team that fosters collaboration, ownership, and a patient-centered culture. Partner with clinical, medical, admissions, and support-service leaders to improve patient outcomes and elevate the treatment experience. Ensure ongoing compliance with all applicable state and federal requirements, accreditation standards, licensing obligations, and organizational policies. Represent the organization in the community and cultivate productive partnerships with healthcare providers, referral sources, civic leaders, and other stakeholders. Identify opportunities to strengthen programming, improve operational performance, and adapt to the evolving behavioral health landscape. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required; master's degree in healthcare administration, business, behavioral health, or a related human-services field strongly preferred. Minimum of five years of senior-level leadership experience within behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, residential treatment, or a comparable healthcare setting. Proven ability to lead complex operations with responsibility for quality, compliance, financial results, and workforce engagement. Strong understanding of behavioral health clinical operations, accreditation expectations, and regulatory compliance. A demonstrated commitment to recovery-oriented, patient-centered care and the ability to lead effectively through growth and change. Excellent judgment, communication, relationship-building, and decision-making skills.

Pay:

$95,946.84 - $115,548.88 per year
