We partner with primary care providers to improve the engagement and management of their Medicaid patients, offering independent practices with specialized resources and clinical programs to close gaps in care. Our teams work to address medical, social and behavioral patient needs, lowering healthcare costs and improving patient lives. Guided by our core values of humility, continuous learning and feeling the weight, our team is on a mission to strengthen communities from within, unlocking people's ability to live their healthiest lives. We are seeking a Chief Commercial Officer to join our team! In this role, you will own the full commercial engine of the business, including payer account management, payer contracting, and payer growth strategy, while also leading our work to evolve our core business and deepen our impact to payer and provider partners. You will inherit a strong, established book of business and a high performing team already in place, and you will be the executive accountable for turning that foundation into Diverge Health's next phase of growth. What you'll do As Chief Commercial Officer, you will play a pivotal role in scaling our payer business and leading our expansion into new revenue models. Key areas you'll add value Own payer account management and payer contracting end to end, building on a growing book of signed contracts with a goal of continued expansion across Managed Medicaid, Medicare Advantage, and CMS programs to significantly grow the overall payer contract portfolio. Co-lead payer growth strategy alongside our CEO. Manage and develop existing resources across payer contracting, payer account management, and strategy and operations for new business lines while continuing to build the team. Own end to end strategy development, launch, and P&L for new business lines that deepen our impact to payer and provider partners. Build the muscle and processes to scale what is working today into a repeatable, well-run commercial engine as the business grows. Capture the learnings from our new revenue models, and use them to inform how we expand going forward. What you bring 10+ years of senior-level experience in value-based contracting; you are fluent in value-based care deal mechanics, comfortable running the math yourself, and have personally led payer negotiations on value-based arrangements. This is the single most important qualification for this role. Meaningful experience in payer account management. Experience with P&L ownership, commercial strategy, and executive-level accountability, paired with a sharp, hungry mindset eager to grow into this dimension. Ideally someone who has moved fluidly between strategy and revenue-owning roles, having run or co-run a P&L. Proven experience leading and developing multi-functional teams. Familiarity with the Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) operating environment is a strong plus. Who you are An equally empathetic and objective, humble and highly conscientious leader who inspires and motivates the team already in place beneath you. A strategic operator who is energized by both the numbers and the negotiating table, and who can move fluidly between the two. Comfortable owning ambiguity, able to build a repeatable playbook out of work that is still taking shape. Strong in executive communication, able to represent the commercial function credibly with payers, partners, and internal leadership alike. Curious in nature, genuinely interested in learning our markets and payer landscape rather than just managing the numbers in front of you. A strong representative of Diverge Health's mission, vision, and values in every interaction and every deliverable. This is a full-time, exempt, salaried position. Commensurate on candidate experience, the expected base salary range for this role is $300,000 - $330,000 Our Investors Diverge Health is funded by GV and incubated by Triple Aim Partners, which since 2019 has partnered with entrepreneurs to co-found and launch eight companies focused on improving the quality, experience and total cost of healthcare.
