® (PMAR) is looking for a strategic, hands-on leader to become our next Association Executive / CEO. This is a rare opportunity to lead a well-established REALTOR® association at the executive level — overseeing not just PMAR itself, but also its Multiple Listing Service and licensed real estate school. As the chief paid staff executive, you'll partner closely with our Board of Directors and Executive Committee to set strategy, manage operations, safeguard our finances, and represent PMAR's interests to members, regulators, and the broader community. A Day in This Role Might Include

• Advising the Board and Executive Committee, and turning their strategic vision into action
• Leading a small, dedicated staff team and keeping the office running smoothly
• Owning the budget — from big-picture planning to day-to-day financial stewardship across the Association, MLS, and School
• Championing member recruitment, retention, and engagement
• Directing MLS operations, technology, and compliance as our MLS Executive
• Holding executive oversight of our licensed real estate school — approving courses and direction while your team manages the daily details
• Representing PMAR to government officials, industry partners, and the community
• Keeping the organization compliant, ethical, and well-managed from a risk standpoint What You Bring
• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or association management credential (CAE, RCE, IOM) a plus
• 5+ years of senior leadership experience in association management, real estate, or a related nonprofit/membership organization
• A solid grasp of REALTOR® association governance
• Working knowledge of MLS operations and compliance
• Comfort with real estate education regulations (or a fast learning curve)
• Real financial acumen — budgeting isn't an afterthought for you
• Leadership presence: you communicate clearly and organize chaos into order
• Integrity and transparency, especially when juggling competing priorities
• A strategic mind paired with a bias toward getting things done Good to Know
• This is a full-time, in-office role
• Regular evening hours for Board, Executive Committee, and committee meetings
• Periodic weekends for member events, installations, and conventions

®. This position reports directly to the Board of Directors through the President and serves as staff liaison to all committees unless otherwise delegated.

Pay:

$75,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
