Job Description
Our confidential client, a well-established industrial services and construction organization, is seeking an experienced Interim President/CEO to lead a period of transformation, stabilization, and growth. This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic, personable, and driven executive who excels in change management, team building, and operational leadership. Position Summary The Interim President/CEO will partner closely with ownership and leadership teams to support turnaround efforts, organizational restructuring, and the development of a sustainable long-term business model. The successful candidate will serve as an integrator across the organization while driving growth, accountability, and cultural alignment. Key Responsibilities
- Lead change management efforts related to entity restructuring.
- Assess and identify business models that support long-term stability and growth.
- Serve as an integrator and culture builder across the organization.
- Develop organizational structures and evaluate key talent needs in engineering, design, estimating, and project management.
- Lead business development activities in partnership with the company's sales professional.
- Support ongoing turnaround and stabilization initiatives.
- Build and strengthen internal and external relationships, including engineering firms and new market opportunities in industrial construction.
- Grow the fabrication side of the business and identify new revenue streams.
- Support immediate and long-term shareholder exit planning strategies.
- Lead succession planning initiatives, including evaluation of ESOP or alternative employee ownership models.
- Improve operational efficiency, productivity, and organizational performance. Qualifications
- Executive leadership experience as a President, CEO, COO, General Manager, or similar role.
- Proven success leading organizational change, restructuring, or turnaround initiatives.
- Strong operational experience within construction, industrial services, engineering, fabrication, manufacturing, or project-based organizations.
- Demonstrated sales and business development expertise.
- Experience working with ownership groups and succession planning initiatives.
