OUR HOSPITAL

Committed to providing quality healthcare with a team of dedicated physicians and caring staff, Olney Hamilton Hospital (OHH) is a 25 bed, Critical Access Hospital nestled in Northern Young County, in Olney, Texas. OHH is the longest continuously operating rural hospital in Texas---providing services to our community and 5 county area for 118 years. This fall we plan to move into a newly constructed 40,000 square foot facility. We offer quality healthcare professionals with state-of-the-art equipment that our residents have come to expect and deserve. Our out-patient services are comprehensive and supported by modern equipment and technology to enhance patient care. We provide emergency services 24 hours, 365 days per year staffed by Board Certified Physicians. Our state-designated Level IV Trauma Emergency Department is a vital part of our community. Our Medicare-approved Swing Bed Program provides rehabilitation and palliative care for our patients. The hospital also operates two Medicare Certified Rural Health Clinics, with a dedicated staff of healthcare professionals.

• Service area: Olney Hamilton Hospital in Olney, Texas serves Young County and surrounding areas in Texas, with its emergency medical services (Olney EMS) covering an area of about 900 square miles in northern Young County

OUR CEO POSITION

Summary Serving as the chief strategic, financial, and operational leader of the organization, the CEO is responsible for advancing the hospital's mission of delivering exceptional, compassionate healthcare to Olney and the surrounding rural communities. The CEO will champion a culture focused on quality, accountability, patient-centered care, physician collaboration, employee engagement, and operational excellence while serving as a visible and trusted leader throughout the community. Reporting directly to the elected Board of Directors, the CEO oversees all hospital operations and leads an executive team that includes the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), medical staff, and other operational leaders. • Community Engagement & External Relations Requirements Bachelor Degree in a healthcare or business related field Progressive senior leadership experience within a hospital Demonstrated operational and financial leadership experience in a hospital environment.

Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, compliance standards, and reimbursement methodologies. Proven ability to lead teams, manage change, and build collaborative relationships. Preferred Qualifications Prior Critical Access Hospital and/or rural healthcare leadership experience. Master's Degree in a healthcare or business related field Experience working within a hospital district or public healthcare governance structure. Demonstrated success in physician recruitment, service-line development, and community engagement initiatives.
