We operate multiple restaurant locations and are expanding into new markets. This is a confidential search, so we will share the company name with qualified candidates after the first conversation. The Role We are looking for a Chief Operating Officer to lead all restaurant operations and work side by side with the CEO. You will be responsible for how our restaurants run every day, and also for building the people, systems and structure we need for the next stage of growth. We want someone who is a COO today, or who is in a role very close to it and has already done this job at multi-unit scale. What You Will Do Lead operations across all locations and be accountable for sales, guest experience, food quality and profitability Own the operations P&L with the CEO, including labor, food cost and controllable expenses Build and improve our operating playbook: standards, training, SOPs and the KPIs we use to run the business Lead new restaurant openings, from site handover through opening and the first months after Hire, develop and keep strong area managers and general managers Work closely with finance, supply chain, HR and real estate to support expansion Keep food safety, compliance and consistency at a high level in every unit What We Are Looking For Currently a COO, or in a very close role such as SVP or VP of Operations reporting directly to the CEO Real experience running multi-unit restaurant operations as COO or top operations leader, with full P&L responsibility 10+ years in restaurant operations, including several years leading multiple units and area managers Track record of opening new units and entering new markets Strong understanding of restaurant unit economics, labor models and cost control Builds a strong culture in the field and develops leaders from within Comfortable in a growing company where many systems are still being built Based in the Bay Area or willing to relocate Compensation and Benefits Base salary $200,000 to $250,000 per year, depending on experience 401(k) Health insurance Paid time off How to Apply Please send your resume with a short note that covers your current title, how many restaurants you are responsible for today, and one operations result you are proud of from the last few years.
