Part-Time Integrator /
Director of Operations Integrity Homes and Affiliated Companies Grand Junction, Colorado Pay:
$45-$55 per hour
Schedule:
Approximately 20 hours per week
Job Type:
Part-time, W-2 employee
Work Location:
Primarily in person in Grand Junction, Colorado, with limited flexibility based on responsibilities
Applications Accepted Through:
September 28, 2026 About The Opportunity Integrity Homes is part of a diversified group of affiliated, locally owned businesses operating in construction, concrete and excavation, retail, automotive services, and emerging business technology. We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Integrator who can work directly with the owner and company leaders to turn priorities into coordinated execution, strengthen accountability, improve financial and operational visibility, and help the businesses operate with less dependence on the owner. This is not an advisory, coaching, or administrative-only position. The successful candidate will become the owner's operational counterpart, help establish a consistent management system across the affiliated companies, and ensure that leadership commitments produce measurable results. Primary Responsibilities
  • Translate the owner's vision and priorities into clear operating plans.
  • Establish and lead an effective weekly leadership-meeting rhythm.
  • Hold managers and department leaders accountable for commitments, deadlines, and measurable results.
  • Develop and maintain company scorecards, key performance indicators, and quarterly priorities.
  • Identify operational, financial, staffing, scheduling, and communication bottlenecks.
  • Ensure important issues are assigned, resolved, and documented.
  • Strengthen communication and coordination among company leaders.
  • Monitor project schedules, daily reporting, sales pipelines, cash-flow priorities, and operational performance.
  • Clarify roles, responsibilities, decision-making authority, and reporting relationships.
  • Help document repeatable processes and standard operating procedures.
  • Reduce the number of routine decisions and operational problems returning to the owner.
  • Coordinate shared initiatives across multiple affiliated companies.
  • Provide the owner with a concise weekly report covering performance, unresolved issues, decisions needed, and upcoming priorities.
  • Assist with implementing dashboards, workflow automation, and AI-supported business systems.
  • Help build a scalable operating structure capable of supporting future growth. Initial 90-Day Priorities
  • Assess the existing leadership structure, meetings, scorecards, systems, and accountability practices.
  • Establish a consistent weekly operating and reporting rhythm.
  • Create clear accountability for key managers and employees.
  • Improve completion and accuracy of calendars, schedules, daily logs, and operational reports.
  • Identify the highest-impact financial and operational bottlenecks.
  • Develop and execute a prioritized 30-, 60-, and 90-day implementation plan.
  • Demonstrate measurable improvement in execution, accountability, communication, and owner independence. Required Qualifications
  • At least five years of leadership experience in operations, general management, construction management, or a comparable business environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead managers and hold people accountable.
  • Experience implementing operational systems, scorecards, KPIs, meeting rhythms, and documented processes.
  • Working knowledge of budgets, cash flow, margins, scheduling, and business performance.
  • Ability to manage priorities across multiple companies, divisions, or departments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable addressing performance issues directly and professionally.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of discretion when handling confidential financial, business, and employee information. Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in construction, homebuilding, skilled trades, retail operations, automotive services, or another owner-led business.
  • Previous experience as an Integrator, COO, Director of Operations, General Manager, or senior operational leader.
  • Familiarity with EOS or a comparable business operating system.
  • Experience with BuilderTrend, Microsoft 365, operational dashboards, workflow automation, or AI business tools.
  • Experience managing organizational change and strengthening accountability.
Who Will Succeed in This Position The successful candidate will be an experienced operator—not simply a coach, consultant, meeting facilitator, or administrative coordinator. This individual must be comfortable turning incomplete ideas into actionable plans, respectfully challenging the owner and leadership team, making problems visible, and following through until commitments are completed. Compensation The anticipated pay range is $45-$55 per hour for approximately 20 hours per week. Starting compensation will depend on demonstrated leadership experience and the agreed scope of responsibility. A future performance incentive may be available based on measurable improvements in accountability, profitability, operational execution, and completion of company priorities. This part-time position does not currently include health insurance or retirement benefits. Paid-time-off eligibility and other employment terms will be discussed during the hiring process. Selection Process Finalists may be asked to complete a paid operational exercise involving a sample leadership structure, company scorecard, accountability challenge, and 90-day action plan. The selected candidate will begin with a 90-day introductory period and clearly defined performance expectations. How to Apply Please submit your résumé and a short cover letter addressing the following: 1. Describe a business where you improved accountability or operational execution. 2. Explain how you would manage competing priorities across several affiliated companies. 3. Describe how you have successfully held managers accountable. 4. Explain what you would expect to accomplish during your first 90 days. We are an equal opportunity employer and consider qualified applicants without regard to legally protected status.
