Annual Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Director of Service & Automation to lead and grow the company's service and automation operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in service management, business development, financial oversight, and team leadership. Key Responsibilities Lead and grow the Service & Automation division while ensuring operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. Oversee the division's P&L, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance. Manage service technicians, sales personnel, automation teams, and administrative staff. Develop and implement strategies to increase service revenue and profitability. Oversee day-to-day service and automation operations, ensuring projects and service activities are completed efficiently. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and business partners. Support sales and business development initiatives to identify new opportunities. Establish performance goals and mentor team members to drive productivity and growth. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and industry requirements. Qualifications 10-15 years of progressive experience managing and growing a service organization, preferably within the mechanical/HVAC/building systems industry. Proven experience managing P&L and financial performance for a business unit or division. Strong leadership experience managing technical, sales, and administrative teams. Demonstrated success in service operations, business development, and revenue growth. Strong customer relationship and communication skills. Excellent strategic planning, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
