Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management Lead, mentor, and develop acquisition team members through hiring, training, coaching, performance management, and career development initiatives. Establish team goals, performance standards, and accountability measures that drive operational excellence. Anticipate future staffing, technology, and budget requirements and implement appropriate solutions. Acquisition Strategy & Operations Develop and execute a comprehensive acquisition strategy that balances quality, cost, risk, and growth opportunities. Oversee the acquisition of title plant data and images to support expansion, maintenance, and operational requirements. Maintain a centralized inventory of acquisition sources, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and alignment with organizational asset management practices. Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and acquisition opportunities to support strategic planning. Compliance & Risk Management Ensure acquisition activities comply with applicable federal, state, local, and contractual requirements. Monitor legislative and regulatory developments and adjust acquisition strategies, agreements, and processes accordingly. Establish governance standards, quality controls, and best practices to support compliance and operational integrity. Cross-Functional Collaboration Partner with internal stakeholders across legal, operations, product, technology, sales, marketing, and other business functions to support strategic initiatives. Build and maintain productive relationships with vendors, government agencies, county offices, and other external partners. Ensure vendor performance meets contractual obligations, service level expectations, and delivery commitments. Process Improvement & Project Management Develop and implement process improvements that enhance acquisition capabilities, efficiency, and scalability. Create and maintain roadmaps for operational enhancements and strategic initiatives. Establish methodologies for project prioritization, scheduling, resource allocation, and execution. Lead multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring delivery against timelines and business objectives. Reporting & Analytics Develop, maintain, and enhance reporting, analytics, and documentation to support business planning and executive decision-making. Communicate project outcomes, risks, operational impacts, and strategic recommendations to key stakeholders. Analyze operational challenges, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to improve performance and results. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. 5+ years of experience in county/court data and image acquisition. 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams, operations, and business processes. Demonstrated expertise in operational management, workflow optimization, and process improvement. Strong understanding of legal, contractual, and regulatory requirements related to data acquisition. Advanced analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving capabilities. Proven ability to manage multiple teams, projects, priorities, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication, collaboration, presentation, and stakeholder management skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Preferred Qualifications Experience in title search and title examination. Knowledge of county recording systems, public records research, and local government processes. Experience working with large-scale data acquisition, imaging, or title plant operations. Familiarity with vendor management, contract negotiations, and third-party service relationships.
