High Point Residence Waterloo Supportive Living is seeking an innovative and results-driven leader with a passion for building high-performing teams and delivering exceptional care within the senior living industry. The Executive Director is responsible for the overall leadership, operational excellence, and strategic direction of the community, ensuring regulatory compliance, financial performance, census growth, and a strong, positive culture. Position Overview The Executive Director provides executive-level oversight of all community operations. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations while maintaining high standards of care aligned with the organization's mission and values. Key Responsibilities Provide overall leadership and direction for community operations, ensuring excellence in quality, service, and resident experience Oversee financial performance, including budget development, cost control, and fiscal management Meet or exceed revenue and occupancy goals on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing team through coaching, training, and performance management Establish and implement operational standards and best practices to drive consistency and excellence Ensure full compliance with all regulatory requirements, including Illinois Supportive Living guidelines and applicable Medicaid programs Partner with sales and marketing teams to drive census growth and community visibility Collaborate with leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives and business development plans Analyze operational data and trends to identify opportunities and implement effective solutions Stay current with industry trends, regulatory updates, and best practices Qualifications Supportive Living leadership experience preferred Minimum of three (3) years of healthcare or senior living operations leadership experience preferred 5 years minimum experience in Healthcare field required Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost management In-depth knowledge of Illinois Supportive Living regulations Proven leadership and team-building capabilities Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and drive accountability
