Leads through multiple layers of management (Department Managers, Sr. Department Managers, and other leaders), ensuring capability, clarity, and accountability. Builds leadership bench strength through development plans, succession planning, and disciplined performance management. Delivers regular Ryan Performance Connections and annual performance reviews for all direct reports and ensures completion of compensation processes. Oversees customer experience and retention across a complex customer base, maintaining visibility into key accounts and significant service issues. Partners with HR on workforce planning, structure, leadership hiring, retention, and change management. Partners with commercial and marketing leaders on market positioning, account growth strategies, segment focus, and local expansion. Owns market-level safety and compliance performance, using data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement. Contributes as a senior operator across markets by sharing best practices, mentoring leaders, and influencing broader operational initiatives. Maintains an active, visible presence in the field to validate standards, support leaders, and stay connected to execution without acting as a frontline crew member. Scope of Role Leads a market with revenue greater than $10M Oversees 5+ departments through a team of department managers Responsible for 35+ associates across the market Serves 5,000+ customers Operates within RYAN's pricing, brand, and policy framework
