No recruiters, please. About the Role We are seeking an exceptional Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead our organization during an exciting period of growth and scale. This is a rare opportunity to join an established, profitable manufacturing and distribution company that is accelerating its expansion. The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is a senior executive responsible for overseeing the organization's day-to-day operations and ensuring that business strategies are effectively translated into measurable results. The COO works closely with the CEO and executive leadership team to drive operational excellence, organizational growth, financial performance, and long-term sustainability. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily business operations and ensure efficient, effective execution across departments. Develop and implement operational strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. Establish performance standards, key performance indicators (KPIs), and accountability measures. Lead, mentor, and develop senior leaders and operational teams. Identify opportunities to improve processes, productivity, quality, and cost efficiency. Collaborate with the CEO and executive team on strategic planning and organizational priorities. Monitor operational and financial performance and take corrective action when necessary. Develop and manage operating budgets in partnership with finance leadership. Ensure appropriate policies, procedures, systems, and controls are in place. Oversee organizational initiatives, projects, and major operational changes. Foster effective communication and collaboration across departments. Manage relationships with key vendors, partners, customers, and other stakeholders as appropriate. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and industry standards. Identify operational risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, teamwork, and customer service. Provide regular operational updates, analysis, and recommendations to the CEO. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, operations, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. 10+ years of progressive leadership and operational management experience. Demonstrated experience managing multiple departments, teams, or business functions. Strong understanding of business operations, financial management, budgeting, and performance metrics. Proven ability to develop and execute organizational strategies. Experience leading organizational growth, transformation, or process-improvement initiatives. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Preferred Experience scaling a company through a growth inflection — $50M to $200M+ .

Full-time Pay:
$160,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year
