RelativityOne Operations LeadBethesda, MDDuration:
3 months OnsiteSeeking for an experienced eDiscovery Operations Manager to lead and manage eDiscovery operational services, staff, workloads, quality assurance, and resource allocation. This position will serve as a primary point of contact for government and client stakeholders and will be responsible for ensuring high-quality eDiscovery services are delivered on time and in accordance with contractual, operational, and security requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing complex eDiscovery operations, working with Relativity/RelativityOne, establishing operational goals, monitoring performance, implementing best practices, and using metrics and benchmarking to drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day eDiscovery operations, staff, workloads, priorities, and deliverables.
  • Plan and manage contractor support for eDiscovery operational services.
  • Identify and assign staff based on project requirements, workload, priorities, and available resources.
  • Review the work of team members and ensure deliverables meet established quality and contractual standards.
  • Develop and monitor short-term and long-term operational goals, milestones, and strategic objectives.
  • Monitor workflows and adjust resources and priorities to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Establish and maintain Quality Assurance (QA/QC) processes across eDiscovery operations.
  • Compile and analyze operational and strategic goals to evaluate program effectiveness.
  • appropriate methodologies, models, tools, and management standards to operational activities.
  • Identify, evaluate, and implement eDiscovery best practices and process improvements.
  • Develop and monitor performance measures, KPIs, operational metrics, and benchmarks.
  • Use performance data and benchmarking to support program assessments, audits, management improvements, and policy development.
  • Provide regular progress reports, operational metrics, risks, issues, and recommendations to government and client stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for government managers and client agency personnel.
  • Coordinate technical and data-processing support and obtain additional resources when required.
  • Ensure proper security and handling of project materials in accordance with established security procedures.
  • Ensure eDiscovery work is delivered on schedule and complies with contractual specifications.
  • Support the development and improvement of operational policies, procedures, methodologies, and documentation.
  • Promote consistent, efficient, and high-quality eDiscovery practices across projects and teams.
Required Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated experience managing eDiscovery staff and complex operational workloads of similar size and complexity.
  • Strong experience with staffing, workload management, and resource allocation.
  • Experience managing Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) processes.
  • Experience with eDiscovery operations and litigation support environments.
  • Experience with Relativity and/or RelativityOne.
  • Experience establishing and monitoring operational goals, workflows, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Experience developing and analyzing performance metrics, KPIs, and management reports.
  • Experience with benchmarking, performance measurement, and operational assessments.
  • Experience identifying and implementing best practices and process improvements.
  • Experience supporting program audits, assessments, policy development, and management standards.
  • Strong experience communicating with clients, management, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and ensure high-quality work is delivered within established deadlines.
  • Knowledge of security requirements and procedures for handling sensitive project materials.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience supporting government agencies or government eDiscovery programs.
  • Experience serving as the primary client or government point of contact for eDiscovery operations.
  • Experience coordinating technical and data-processing resources.
  • Experience developing eDiscovery operational policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Certification in an eDiscovery program or related software platform is highly desired.
