Senior Vice President of Operations Position Summary The Senior Vice President of Operations is a member of the executive leadership team responsible for leading the Bank's operational functions and supporting the Bank's continued growth. This role provides strategic direction, oversight, and leadership for Deposit Operations, Loan Operations, Retail Banking, Electronic Banking, and operational support functions while ensuring efficiency, regulatory compliance, and an exceptional customer experience. The position also provides executive oversight of the Bank's BSA/AML program, with operations serving as the primary focus. Essential Responsibilities Lead the Bank's operational strategy in support of growth and long-term objectives. Provide oversight for Deposit Operations, Loan Operations, Retail Banking, Electronic Banking, and related operational functions. Improve operational efficiency through process improvement, technology, and workflow enhancements. Develop and mentor department leaders while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and excellent customer service. Ensure compliance with applicable banking regulations and maintain executive oversight of the Bank's BSA/AML program. Partner with executive management to develop and implement strategic initiatives. Manage operational risk, vendor relationships, audits, and regulatory examinations. Represent the Bank within the community and promote employee involvement in community organizations and events. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Minimum of 10 years of progressive banking experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Experience in community banking, preferably in institutions with up to approximately $2 billion in assets. Strong knowledge of banking operations, including deposit, loan, retail, and electronic banking functions. Working knowledge of BSA/AML regulations and operational risk management. Proven leadership, communication, strategic planning, and organizational skills.
