Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic Regional Director to join our Northeast team! Regional Director responsibilities include but are not limited to the following. Conducting all the functions and responsibilities of the position with the best interest of the Company in mind. Direct the day-to-day activities of the assigned regional operations centers. This involves directing all aspects of the organization's operational policies, objectives, and initiatives in accordance with the Strategic and Tactical Plan's requirements and specifications. Plan, organize, monitor, and control the functions of the operations centers, including inventory control, and miscellaneous responsibilities on a site-by-site basis, and the Company's assets in general. Ensure the maintenance, upkeep, and repair of all facilities owned, leased, or otherwise under the control of the company. Aid the Vice President of Operations and the COO in the annual planning and execution of the goals, objectives, and directives of the strategic plan. Provide the leadership and direction necessary to sustain the Company's growth and to execute the tactical plan within the framework of the Company's long range strategic plan. Ensure all company operations are running in accordance with standards and guidelines and will undertake to resolve any and all constraints as they occur. Manage the region using sound financial management skills. Attains quarterly and annual goals as defined in the three year strategic and tactical plans. Manage and maintain regional facilities within predetermined budgetary guidelines. This is to include the internal and external buildings and grounds. Direct and oversee the supervision of all operations center personnel to achieve preset levels of performance in terms of quantity (productivity) and quality of work produced. This includes oversight of on-site training, scheduling, establishing goals and standards and evaluations. Regional Director requirements include the following. Requires travel to Company locations for their Region as needed and may be with short notice and for long (more than one week) periods of time. Extensive travel up to 50% of the time. Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a Business Discipline, or a related field from an accredited college or university. The equivalent experience and training may also be considered. Requires minimum 5 years experience in the final mile industry. Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills Requires strong computer skills including Microsoft Teams and Office 365.
