Full-Time Position Summary The Vice President of Operations will serve as a senior leader responsible for P/L, as well as the development, implementation, and oversight of M1's services across Colorado. This role will lead work with the Office of the CEO to develop clinical strategy, ensure quality and compliance, and scale care delivery through both in-person and telehealth-supported models. The VP will directly oversee clinical teams, case management systems, and peer recovery coaching services, ensuring alignment with best practices in addiction treatment. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage P/L for the entire Colorado Operation
  • Provide executive leadership for operations
  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve clinical processes and standards of care
  • Design and scale a comprehensive case management system to support patient outcomes and continuity of care
  • Oversee and integrate a centralized, telehealth-supported clinical model across locations
  • Lead, mentor, and supervise licensed clinicians and clinical leaders in a multidisciplinary environment
  • Develop a clinical mentoring program in partnership with local colleges to prepare behavioral health students for careers in addiction therapy
  • Provide oversight and strategic direction for the peer recovery coaching program
  • Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and accreditation standards related to behavioral health services
  • Collaborating with executive leadership on organizational strategy, growth initiatives, and service expansion
  • Monitor clinical outcomes, quality metrics, and patient satisfaction to drive continuous improvement
  • Support recruitment, training, and retention of high-performing clinical staff
  • Development of additional service verticals Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in a mental health field (e.g., Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related discipline)
  • Active clinical license in Colorado, or eligibility to obtain licensure (e.g., LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of progressive leadership experience in a clinical or therapeutic setting
  • Demonstrated experience supervising and developing clinical teams
  • Strong background in addiction recovery and behavioral health treatment
  • Experience in designing or scaling case management systems and clinical workflows
  • Familiarity with telehealth delivery models and multi-site clinical operations
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Required Skills
  • Strong leadership skills with emphasis on the ability to lead leaders and clinical professionals.
  • Knowledge of addiction theory and behavior, approaches to recovery, and harm reduction principles.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in electronic health records and documentation practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and fundamental typing skills necessary.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, be detail oriented, and willing and able to respond to crisis situations
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA regulations and practices. Other Skills/Qualifications
  • Experience in high-growth or multi-location healthcare organizations
  • Knowledge of Colorado behavioral health regulations and payer systems
  • Experience integrating peer support or recovery coaching programs into clinical care
