What You'll Do As VP, Director of Retail Operations , you will provide leadership and oversight for critical operational functions supporting our Retail division, including: Deposit Operations Electronic Payments Card Services Fraud & Disputes Quality Control Retail Operational Support Functions What Success Looks Like In this role, you will: Develop and execute forward-looking operational strategies that support growth and member engagement. Lead process improvement, automation, and modernization efforts that enhance efficiency and service delivery. Strengthen organizational capabilities, workforce readiness, and succession planning. Ensure strong operational controls, compliance, risk management, and audit readiness. Utilize data and analytics to improve performance, service quality, and decision-making. Build high-performing teams and cultivate a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement. What We're Looking For We're seeking a proven leader who brings: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Operations Management, Accounting, or a related field Eight or more years of progressive leadership experience within a financial institution Demonstrated success leading operational teams, process improvement initiatives, and organizational change Strong understanding of operational risk, compliance, controls, and financial services operations Experience developing leaders and building scalable, high-performing teams Preferred qualifications include: Credit union leadership experience Advanced degree Accredited ACH Professional (AAP) certification or other relevant industry certifications
