Electric Operations Leadership Position Position Summary We are seeking an experienced electric operations professional. This position will oversee day-to-day operations while also as a Vice President Electric Operations to provide leadership, technical guidance, and strategic direction for our Electric Operations team. Interested individuals should have demonstrated electric distribution utility experience of more than 20 years, contributing to long-term system planning, resource management, safety, construction, maintenance, and reliability initiatives. A key component of this position will be developing and mentoring the next generation of electric operations leadership. The successful candidate will play an important role in developing future Electric Operations leaders by sharing knowledge, building leadership capabilities, and providing guidance and mentoring to employees for increased responsibility within the department. Key Responsibilities Provide leadership, direction, and oversight for Electric Operations, including construction, maintenance, system operations, scheduling, and work priorities. Lead, support, and develop Electric Operations employees, fostering a strong culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Provide technical and operational guidance related to electric system construction, maintenance, design, inspections, switching, system improvements, and reliability. Assist with short- and long-range system planning and collaborate with engineering and other cooperative leadership on operational and infrastructure needs. Support emergency restoration efforts and provide leadership and coordination during major outages or other operational events. Mentor and develop employees through knowledge transfer, hands-on experience, leadership development, and increased exposure to the responsibilities and decision-making associated with Electric Operations leadership. Promote a culture of knowledge sharing and succession planning to ensure the continued strength and effectiveness of the Electric Operations department. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Additional completed technical program courses in related area. Completion of approved apprenticeship program or similar technical training is preferred. Related education in other fields will be considered.
• Minimum of twenty years progressively responsible experience in utility operations. Proven supervisory experience is required. Experience should include all phases of construction, maintenance and system operation.
• The successful candidate will have the ability to build strong working relationships and communicate technical knowledge and expectations clearly and effectively.
• Ability to effectively mentor and develop employees through knowledge sharing, coaching, and providing opportunities for increased responsibility. About the Position
• The Vice President Electric Operations works closely with operations staff and the leadership team. The position is on-site at PPCS headquarters in Ellsworth, Wisconsin. Evening Board meetings, occasional community events, and periodic overnight travel are required.
