Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Contract Administrator to join our dynamic team. Duties Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including procurement agreements, grants, and service contracts, ensuring clarity and legal soundness. Manage vendor relationships by overseeing vendor management processes and maintaining comprehensive document management systems. Ensure compliance with federal acquisition regulations (FAR), procurement regulatory requirements, UCC law (Uniform Commercial Code), and other applicable legal standards. Conduct thorough contract review and analysis to identify risks, opportunities, and necessary modifications. Maintain accurate records of all contract documents using document management tools such as DocuSign and PeopleSoft. Support grant project management by overseeing grant agreements, monitoring compliance requirements, and managing grant-related documentation. Collaborate with internal teams on proposal writing, pricing strategies, change management initiatives, and strategic planning efforts to optimize contract outcomes. Skills Extensive experience in government contract management and public sector purchasing processes. Strong knowledge of procurement regulations including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and related compliance standards. Proficiency in legal drafting, technical writing, and business management principles. Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms while maintaining positive contractor relationships. Skilled in records management, document review, and contract lifecycle oversight using tools like Microsoft Office Suite, DocuSign, and PeopleSoft. Ability to research complex legal issues such as UCC law and intellectual property law to inform contract decisions. Effective communication skills for proposal writing, strategic planning discussions, and stakeholder engagement.
