Here you are supported, here you are celebrated, here you can thrive. Your New Role Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking a Director, Legal and Business Affairs to join the Warner Bros. Television Animation legal team in Burbank, California. This position serves as a key member of the WB Animation legal team, providing strategic legal and business affairs counsel on the development, production, and distribution of animated television content. This position independently manages complex talent, rights acquisition, production, distribution, and co-production transactions. It advises creative and production executives on business and legal matters and oversees contract administration activities. The position is located in Burbank and reports to the Senior Vice President, Legal and Business Affairs. Your Role Accountabilities Negotiates and structure above the line talent deals, rights acquisition, distribution and co-production deals for the development, production and distribution of animated television content Drafts talent agreements (writer, producers, etc.), option and acquisition agreements, studio facility agreements, commercial production agreements, voice actor agreements and other agreements and amendments as required for development and production of television series and longform content. Handles production legal for animated television and long form productions including chain of title documents, tax credit letters, overseas agreements and supervising clearance of show elements. Supervises contract administration process and contract analyst to ensure efficient and timely payments for development and production services. Provides other related duties as assigned. Qualifications & Experience Minimum 7 years work experience performing related job duties of this position. Minimum 2 years supervising legal department personnel. Bachelor's Degree required. JD required. California Bar required. Negotiation skills required. Legal drafting skills required. Knowledge of animation production process and thorough understanding of the SAG and
