Auditor Location:
South Gate, CA Schedule:
100% Onsite - 5 Days/Week We are seeking an experienced Aerospace Quality Engineer / Auditor to support a large-scale quality audit and compliance initiative within a demanding aerospace manufacturing environment. This individual will conduct audits, review manufacturing and quality documentation, identify compliance gaps, and support activities related to AS9100, FAI, configuration management, and product traceability. The ideal candidate can contribute immediately with minimal onboarding and has hands-on experience within aerospace and metals manufacturing. Requirements Bachelor's degree required U.S. Citizenship required 3-5+ years of Quality Engineering experience Aerospace manufacturing experience Experience with product, process, and/or quality system audits AS9100 experience Aerospace forging experience Metals manufacturing experience First Article Inspection (FAI/AS9102) experience Configuration management experience Product traceability experience Strong technical writing and reporting skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Responsibilities Conduct product, process, and quality system audits Evaluate compliance with aerospace quality requirements Review manufacturing, inspection, and quality documentation Identify and document discrepancies, nonconformances, and compliance gaps Support AS9100 and comprehensive aerospace audit programs Review and support FAI documentation and activities Verify product traceability and associated quality records Support configuration management and configuration-related requirements Prepare detailed audit reports and written findings Communicate findings to Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing, and other stakeholders Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality and compliance issues Support corrective actions and continuous quality improvement activities Maintain productivity and attention to detail in a demanding aerospace manufacturing environment Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, term life insurance, short-term disability insurance, additional voluntary benefits, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
