Functions and Responsibilities you will be involved with include:

Leads risk mitigation activities for vendor management by providing guidance and expertise on contract terms for vendor contracts and agreements; serving as the primary liaison for stakeholders and the Legal Department; developing contract language to support negotiations; ensuring consistency with Walmart eCommerce standards; negotiating contract terms with vendors; and pursuing cost savings opportunities in line with team goals.

Provides guidance and expertise regarding vendor contracts by collaborating with internal teams (for example, Legal Department, SourcingManagers) to ensure alignment on contract frameworks and standards; advising on parameters for negotiations; reviewing vendor contracts to ensure accuracy before sending for approval; and guiding on templates, processes, and policies.

Manages software and hardware contract processes by negotiating and drafting commercial provisions within template guidelines; managing contract lifecycle and procurement workflows within systems; identifying cost savings and requests for proposal (RFP) opportunities and communicating them to sourcing managers; identifying purchases made with purchase orders (PO) only; and conducting research and benchmarking to ensure price competitiveness.

Demonstrates up-to-date expertise in software and hardware negotiations and is familair with suppliers providing expert advice and guidance to others in the application of information and best practices in commerical negotiations; supporting and aligning efforts to meet customer and business needs; and building commitment for perspectives and rationales.

Provides and supports the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders; identifying business needs; determining and carrying out necessary processes and practices; monitoring progress and results; recognizing and capitalizing on improvement opportunities; and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities.

Required qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Economics, or related field and 1-2 years' experience in Technology/Business Services procurement, contract management, or related field OR 3 years' experience in procurement, contract management, or related field.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite Word, Excel, Powerpoint is required.

Paralegal certification would be a plus.5 years prior experience in procurement, contract management, or related field preferred.3 years demonstrated experience negotiating technology or business services commercial/business terms and contracts preferred.2 years data modeling experience a plus. An individual must be proficient in each of the competencies listed below to successfully perform the responsibilities of this position.

Excellent communications and organizational skillsPrior experience in this area with eCommerce or Online Retail would be a plus.

Ability and integrity to manage secure, confidential documents and agreements.
