Job Description

We are seeking a Contract Support Specialist to support our ITS CEI team in Central Florida. Experience as a Contract Support Specialist for the Central Florida Expressway Authority (CFX) and/or the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is highly desirable. Day to
Day:
Responsible for: Exercising independent initiative to help relieve supervisor of clerical detail Responsible for: Assisting the Project Administrator in office related duties (i.e., MAC, progress meetings, monthly and final estimates, EEO compliance, processing construction contract changes, data upload, submittal tracking, staff certifications, etc.) Responsible for: Project specific work under the general supervision of the Senior Project Engineer and staff.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent FDOT and/or CFX experience Four (4) years construction project related experience Ability to exercise independent judgement in planning work details and making technical decisions related to office aspects of the project Ability to interpret project drawings and technical specifications, organize and summarize construction quantities, and perform computer data entry Must have technical skill to maintain As-Built (record) drawings

Pay:
$38.00 - $45.00 per hour
