Job Description
We are looking for a Contracts Manager/Paralegal to support a company in Tampa, Florida on a Contract assignment. This position focuses on preparing, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements while helping business teams manage contractual risk and maintain organized documentation. The role also involves using AI-enabled tools to analyze documents and improve the efficiency and consistency of contract review.
Responsibilities:
- Review a range of commercial agreements to identify key terms, obligations, and potential areas of risk
- Draft, revise, and finalize contract language to align with business needs and legal standards
- Lead contract discussions with internal stakeholders and external parties to help reach practical, timely agreements
- Maintain accurate records of active agreements, amendments, and approval status throughout the contract lifecycle
- Support contract administration activities, including tracking deadlines, renewals, and required follow-up actions
- Use AI-based document review tools to evaluate agreements and highlight inconsistencies or items requiring attention
- Partner with cross-functional teams to clarify contractual requirements and ensure completed documents are properly executed
