ABOUT YANMAR COMPACT EQUIPMENT NORTH AMERICA
Yanmar Compact Equipment North America Inc. (YCENA) designs, manufactures, and supports a complete range of compact equipment — including compact track loaders, mini excavators, wheel loaders, and construction equipment — for use in markets such as construction, landscaping, utility, land management, and agriculture. Products are sold primarily through a third-party independent dealer network across North America.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Warranty Administrator is responsible for the warranty system, ensuring accurate documentation, timely machine registration, and effective communication with internal teams, suppliers, and global factory partners. This role supports warranty operations through system administration, reporting, KPI tracking, and collaboration with Warranty Analysts to drive continuous improvement across the warranty function.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage and maintain all documentation within the warranty system.
  • Update labor guides, warranty cards, and related materials.
  • Perform system administration tasks, including user setup and access management.
  • Oversee machine registrations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Verify PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) completion.
  • Ensure Quality Surveys are completed and recorded.
  • Manage aged machine registrations and follow-up as needed.
  • Administer extended warranty programs, including assistance with quoting.
  • Confirm correct warranty coverage is applied to machines.
  • Extract, prepare, and distribute warranty reports to Yanmar factories.
  • Support supplier recovery efforts by providing documentation and system data.
  • Track and report warranty KPIs to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Maintain and track PIPs (Product Improvement Programs) and support related system administration.
  • Assist Warranty Analysts with tasks and projects as needed.
  • Contribute to ongoing improvements in warranty systems, workflows, and data accuracy.
Requirements
BACKGROUND & QUALIFICATIONS
Required
  • Associate degree or 5+ years of experience working with OEM warranty processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Highly organized with strong time-management skills; able to maintain structure in dynamic environments. Preferred
  • Technical background or experience in equipment, machinery, or mechanical systems.
  • Experience with Yanmar/ASV Compact Equipment.

$50-60K This position offers the potential for discretionary bonus compensation up to 6 % of base salary.
