Contracts & Pricing Analyst 12-Month+ Contract | 1st Shift | Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM CST Overview Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Contracts & Pricing Analyst to support pricing initiatives, contract analysis, reporting, and strategic business projects. This role is ideal for an analytical professional who enjoys working with data, researching market trends, and partnering with cross-functional teams to improve pricing decisions and business performance. The Contracts & Pricing Analyst will support pricing strategy development, competitive analysis, contract research, and reporting activities while collaborating with Sales, Marketing, Business Development, and Finance teams. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem solver with strong Excel skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working with systems such as SAP, Oracle, JDE, Model N, Salesforce, SharePoint, or Power BI . Responsibilities Assist with evaluating and implementing pricing strategies based on business objectives, market conditions, and competitive dynamics. Conduct research and perform competitive pricing analysis to support business decisions. Monitor market and competitive trends to identify opportunities and potential risks. Analyze contracts, pricing structures, and business data to support pricing recommendations. Partner with Sales, Marketing, Business Development, and Finance teams to align pricing programs with product strategy and revenue goals. Evaluate opportunities to increase revenue through product repositioning, upsell opportunities, and pricing improvements. Analyze the impact of pricing changes, promotions, and rebate programs on revenue and profitability. Create, maintain, and administer pricing databases and reporting tools. Coordinate implementation of approved pricing updates across internal teams. Support special projects involving contract research, pricing analysis, reporting, and process improvements. Prepare reports and presentations using Excel and other business intelligence tools. Identify process improvements and proactively recommend solutions based on data analysis. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required. 3-5 years of relevant experience in pricing, contracts, finance, business analysis, sales operations, or related areas. Strong understanding of business strategy, financial analysis, pricing models, reporting, and contracts. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and identify trends. Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects. Ability to work independently and take a proactive approach to problem solving. Preferred Qualifications Model N experience highly preferred. Experience with SAP, Oracle, JDE, Salesforce, or similar business systems. Experience with SharePoint and Power BI. Background in pricing strategy, contract management, revenue operations, or commercial analytics. Titles Encouraged to
