Full Job Description Overview:
William Charles Construction, a MasTec Company, is currently hiring a Contracts Coordinator to support our civil construction operations for all William Charles Companies. This role is responsible for issuing downstream subcontracts and purchase orders, managing document control, processing change orders, tracking insurance, and performing a variety of administrative tasks to support project delivery. The ideal candidate will have experience in a unionized, heavy civil environment and an understanding of construction documentation and compliance requirements. This is an onsite position in our Rockford, IL office.Company Overview:

Prepare, issue, and track downstream subcontracts, purchase orders, and related contract documents. Maintain document control systems, ensuring that all project documents are properly filed, updated, and distributed. Assist with the processing of change orders, including gathering backup, routing for approvals, and updating contract values. Coordinate with project managers, estimators, superintendents, and accounting to support timely and accurate documentation. Monitor and ensure subcontractor compliance with contract requirements, including insurance. Provide administrative support to support project needs.Qualifications:
2-5 years of experience in contract administration or document control, and administrative support preferably in civil or union construction environments High school diploma required Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Working knowledge of construction project workflows and compliance is highly preferred Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PDF Exchange); experience with document control or project management software is a plus Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities Familiarity with prevailing wage or certified payroll is a plus Proven success building and maintaining internal and external relationships Outstanding written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational skills What's in it for you: Financial Wellbeing Compensation- $28.00
