This position will be located at one of our Hagerman Offices (Fishers IN, Fort Wayne IN, or Louisville KY). This is not a remote position.
Job Summary:
Hagerman is looking for a strategic thinker, persuasive writer, and project orchestrator who thrives on turning opportunities into wins. As our Proposal Manager , you'll lead the pursuit process from kickoff to submission, guiding proposal strategy, shaping compelling content, coordinating teams, and delivering high-quality proposals and presentations that help win work. You'll collaborate with leaders across the company to tell the Hagerman story, showcase our expertise, and position our teams for success.
What You'll Do:
Lead Winning Pursuits Manage qualifications, proposals, and interview presentations from strategy through submission. Develop win themes, response strategies, and compelling content that differentiates Hagerman. Ensure deadlines are met while maintaining accuracy, quality, and consistency. Guide pursuit teams through the proposal process and keep everyone focused on the end goal. Shape the Hagerman Story Gather project stories and success narratives from teams across the company. Write, edit, and refine content for proposals, presentations, case studies, brochures, and marketing materials. Translate technical information into clear, client-focused messaging. Support award submissions, project profiles, market overviews, and thought leadership content. Drive Quality & Brand Excellence Lead design, layout, production, and final quality reviews. Maintain and enhance marketing resources, project information, resumes, and proposal content libraries. Ensure all materials align with Hagerman's brand standards and visual identity. Coordinate project photography and other marketing assets that strengthen our story. Build Relationships & Represent Hagerman Collaborate with operations, business development, and leadership teams across the company. Partner with clients, consultants, architects, engineers, and industry stakeholders. Represent Hagerman at industry events, associations, and business development functions. Serve as a trusted advisor throughout the pursuit process. What We Need You to Bring Strategic Thinking

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field preferred. 5 years experience managing proposals, qualifications, presentations, and pursuit strategies. Strong writing, editing, project management, and communication skills. Experience within the A/E/C industry and knowledge of the RFP/RFQ process preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and content management tools.
