Job Overview We are seeking a highly organized Contract Administrator to support our construction project in West Lafayette, Indiana. The position will assist the Project Manager and project administration team with construction documentation, material purchasing records, vendor coordination, and general site administrative activities. Strong English communication skills are required, and Korean-English bilingual ability is preferred. Duties
- Support the Project Manager and project administration team with daily project coordination and administrative tasks.
- Prepare, organize, and maintain construction-related documents and project records.
- Assist with purchase orders and purchasing documentation for construction materials.
- Track material orders, deliveries, and related status reports.
- Request quotations from subcontractors and material suppliers and compile received proposals.
- Organize quotations, vendor documents, and purchasing records.
- Communicate with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers by email and phone.
- Maintain drawings and construction document files, including current drawings and revisions.
- Assist with distribution and tracking of updated drawings and revised documents.
- Assist with RFI, Submittal, and other construction document tracking.
- Compile daily and weekly construction information and assist with project reports.
- Prepare meeting materials and assist with meeting minutes.
- Organize site manpower and material-related records.
- Prepare and maintain project logs, tracking sheets, and status reports using Excel.
- Support requests from the Project Manager and project administration team.
- Perform other general site office and administrative duties as needed. Qualifications
- Strong English communication skills, including professional email and phone communication.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and other basic Office applications.
- Strong document preparation, organization, and record-keeping skills.
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Preferred
- Korean-English bilingual.
- Previous experience in construction or construction administration.
- Ability to read and understand basic construction drawings.
- Previous experience working on U.
S. construction projects or construction sites.
Pay:
$70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
