Job Description

Own licensing and contracting end to end, keep advisors ready to do business. Overview EnlightnU is looking for a Licensing & Contracting Coordinator who thrives on clear process, accurate paperwork, and getting things across the finish line.
This is a permanent role:
you'll run licensing and contracting as an ongoing function. About EnlightnU EnlightnU is a financial services firm in Overland Park, Kansas. We help people plan for and move into retirement, mainly through annuities and fee based asset management. Our work is built on clear advice and long-term relationships and that depends on licensing and contracting being done right and on time. The Role You'll own licensing and contracting for the firm. That means making sure all required license applications, agency and advisor contracts are submitted, tracked, and fully approved before anyone begins doing business. You'll be the person leadership and advisors turn to for status, deadlines, and next steps. You'll also keep licenses, appointments, and contracts current so nothing lapses as the practice grows. What You'll Do Manage license applications from start to finish, including tracking exam requirements, application status, and following up until approval. Prepare, submit, and track carrier contracting and appointment paperwork. Coordinate the setup advisors need to begin doing business without unnecessary delays. Maintain accurate records of licenses, appointments, contracts, and renewal dates. Track renewals, continuing education requirements, and other ongoing obligations to help prevent lapses. Provide leadership and advisors with clear, timely status updates. Build, maintain, and improve checklists and processes to keep licensing and contracting organized, efficient, and reliable. What You Bring Must-haves Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling paperwork, records, and documentation. Clear and professional written and verbal communication skills. Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of a process from start to finish. Experience supporting onboarding, operations, or administrative processes in any industry. Nice-to-haves Experience with financial services licensing or insurance carrier contracting. You do not need to hold a license yourself. Experience supporting advisor or agent onboarding. Familiarity with state insurance licensing systems and processes, such as NIPR. Familiarity with securities or investment adviser registration processes, including Form U4, CRD, or IARD. Familiarity with common industry licenses, such as Series 7, 65, 66, and Life & Health. Holding these licenses is not required . Experience working with an RIA, independent broker-dealer, IMO/FMO, insurance agency, or financial advisory firm. Experience using CRM, licensing, or tracking systems. Ready to Apply? Pay:
$22.50 - $26.44 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
