Article Share Physical Sciences Inc. (PSI) is a 100% employee-owned research and development and manufacturing organization that develops cutting-edge technologies to meet the critical needs of our customers. PSI seeks an experienced, well-qualified candidate for a full-time, on-site Director, Contracts Administration role at its corporate office in Andover, MA. The candidate will have prior management experience in government and commercial contracting and be responsible for the overall effectiveness of the contracts department, including contract lifecycle management, proposal pricing, subcontracting, regulatory compliance, risk management, process improvement, and team leadership.
Responsibilities:
Oversee administration of federal prime contracts, grants, task orders, subcontracts, and modifications. Ensure compliance with
FAR, DFARS, DEAR, NIH
Policy Statement, contract terms, and applicable federal requirements. Review complex contractual matters and serve as the department's primary escalation point. Provide leadership, direction, and oversight of the contracts department. Manage workloads, establish priorities, monitor performance, and ensure timely completion of department responsibilities. Coach and develop department personnel and promote consistent, efficient, and accountable practices. Support proposals, negotiations, contract modifications, audits, and contract closeout activities. Support commercial agreements including licensing agreements, intellectual property agreements, sales agreements, material supply agreements, nondisclosure agreements, teaming agreements. Identify contractual risks and ensure issues are appropriately documented and escalated.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in business, contracts, finance, legal studies, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered. 7+ years of federal government contracting experience. 3+ years management experience leading a contracts team or department. Strong working knowledge of the FAR; DFARS experience preferred. Experience administering federal prime contracts, grants, task orders, and/or subcontracts. Excellent organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Experience working with leadership teams. Experience with State and Commerce Department licensing a plus. Experience in international contracting a plus. Pay Range:
The estimated annual base salary range for this role is $180K-$220K . The actual salary offered will depend on the candidate's experience, education, and specialized skills. For a list of company benefits, visit PSI benefits
